Here Comes The Sun

Monday Morning Parking

Our second graders will be welcoming an ididarod team....mush team?...not sure how we refer to our snowy friends. But they will need space to park their sled and all the trappings along the curb where upper elementary teachers typically park. If you would please park in the main lot on Monday, our fleet of fast dogs will have space for their sled. Additionally, 4th/5th grade, please play

The kitchen by the FLES room is coming back to life. The fridge is full of stuff that's got to go! Please! If you are storing anything in this refrigerator, would you please remove this by the end of they day? We need space for big kid milk.

Report Cards

Go home on March 26. If you would like your cards printed and packed, please let us know by Wednesday (March 24) morning at 8:00 a.m. That will give Carla and Laura enough time to send them to the printer!

Winter Wonderland

It’s impossible to comprehend the delicate finery that is crunched and crushed beneath our feet as we tread through heaps of snow. May we never lose our child-like sense of wonder at the majesty our Creator places all around us!

Optional Discipleship Practices At Home Activities During Lent
As we begin the journey to the cross through Lent, we want to walk with you and center ourselves around Christ; his death and resurrection. To do that together, on weekdays we will be posting on social media and the HC website, a short Bible passage and some conversation questions that revolve around Discipleship Practices (behaviors that are rooted in the Bible, Church History, and are used as our integration of faith in all that we do at HC). This is not a checklist, or to-do list, but simply a way we can partner together as we worship Christ in all things.

Job Posting
Holland Christian Schools is seeking people who want to build up and encourage young people and families through providing regular school bus transportation for students. Hours are flexible. We are seeking applicants who demonstrate a love for kids, careful, conscientious driving habits, and an interest in providing a needed service to the families of Holland Christian. No previous school bus driving experience necessary. Holland Christian will provide the training necessary. If interested please contact Dan Vos at 616-820-2805 or dvos@hollandchristian.org.
