Kids Food Basket

Oh my! THANK YOU for promoting this service learning experience for your children! What a joy to see their smiles as they added yummy food items to the school collection! I will work out the details of food pick up with the KFB folks on Monday afternoon! 

Ticks! 

For the health and safety of our students and staff, we're going to institute this new protocol when/if we find a tick embedded on a child. I'll add this language to our handbook:

When tick is attached in child’s skin: Protocol is to save the tick and parent can take it to the health department for testing. Place in tape in a bag with date and location on body. Notification to parent right away when tick is removed via text/email.

Adult Dutch Costume Rental

Do you need a Dutch costume for the parade?  The Tulip Time committee is able to loan you a costume.  

If you need a costume, please let Kristi or Cara know by Tuesday, April 11.  

Tonight is the Night 

I will not be able to attend because Calvin University has an admissions event for incoming students in the fall. Kearia, TJ and I will be attending this event but missing our hike! I'm so sorry. Just too many good things! Here are our hike details! 

Oh boy....our calendars, the ODC calendar, a power outage and several snow days tried putting the kabosh on our Forest Family night hike. Then along came our friends at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts! They are hosting a Lantern Lit Night Hike to the Beach! ....with hot chocolate, coffee, hand projects and give aways! Guess what! We're invited! So we'll enjoy a night hike together after all! March 24 from 6:00-8:00 join us at the Saugatuck State Park for an evening in the fun-filled evening hiking in the Forest together!
